As Israel's largest apolitical and public utility environmental organization, our colors (blue – green – brown) guarantee sufficient water resources, the creation of green spaces for the country and the ecological exploitation of the soil. The work of KKL-JNF is of great importance and spans the whole area of Israel, from the Galilee in the north to the Red Sea in the south. The entire population of Israel benefits from our actions, regardless of religion or origin. All parks, forests and recreation centers operated by KKL-JNF are publicly accessible and open to everyone. Our activities in Israel concern afforestation, water management, recreation, leisure and education as well as research and development. We are particularly proud of the 240 million trees planted so far as well as our 230 water reservoirs. In addition to its extensive work in Israel, and thanks to international cooperation, KKL-JNF is also involved abroad in terms of climate awareness, sustainability, and environmental protection.
