About Aatish
Aatish Ali Taseer is a British-American writer and journalist born on 27 November 1980. He was born in London and raised in New Delhi by his mother, Tavleen Singh. Taseer had no contact with his father, Salman Taseer, until he was 21. His education includes studies at Kodaikanal International School and Amherst College, where he earned degrees in French and Political Science. The themes of his early life and his estrangement from his father are explored in his first book, Stranger to History, published in 2009. Taseer has contributed to Time magazine and other prominent publications, where he has written about diverse topics such as feudal Pakistan, the controversy surrounding the Ground Zero Mosque, and the situation in Pakistan following his father’s assassination. His article in The Wall Street Journal, which argued that Pakistan has an obsession with India, sparked widespread debate and a notable exchange among journalists and politicians in both countries. Taseer identifies as culturally and historically Hindu, worshiping Shiva. He married lawyer Ryan Davis in New York. In 2019, his Overseas Citizenship of India was revoked, a move he claims was in retaliation for his critical coverage of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He became a United States citizen in 2020. Taseer has also translated works of Saadat Hasan Manto and authored several novels, with Stranger to History being translated into 14 languages. His literary work earned him a place on the 2010 Costa First Novel Award shortlist for his novel The Temple-Goers.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
