Augustine of Hippo

Augustine of Hippo (13 November 354 – 28 August 430) was a Christian theologian and philosopher from Thagaste in the region historically known as Numidia Cirtensis. He served as the Bishop of Hippo Regius and is considered one of the most influential figures in the history of Western philosophy and theology.
