About Ben
Ben Kane is an Irish novelist specializing in historical fiction. Born in Kenya on March 6, 1970, he grew up there and in Ireland. He attended St. Mary's College in Dundalk and later studied veterinary medicine at University College Dublin, graduating in 1992. Kane is renowned for his book series including Forgotten Legion, Spartacus, and Hannibal. His 2011 novel, Hannibal: Enemy of Rome, reached the Sunday Times bestseller list, and he has since achieved multiple Sunday Times bestsellers. His works have been translated into 14 languages, selling over a million and a half copies worldwide. Outside of writing, Kane has engaged in charitable activities, notably walking the entire length of Hadrian's Wall in full Roman military attire to raise funds for charities such as Combat Stress and Medecins Sans Frontieres. The walk in 2013 and a subsequent one in Italy in 2014 raised significant funds and were documented in a film titled The Road to Rome, narrated by Ian McKellen. In recognition of his historical research, Bristol University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Letters degree in 2016. Kane has also supported Roman archaeological projects including Park in the Past near Chester. In May 2023, he signed a four-book deal with Orion. His 2024 novel Stormcrow is set in Ireland, and in that same year, he and fellow authors of A Day of Fire sold the dramatic rights to Amazon MGM Studios and Scott Free Productions.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
