About Bill
William Johnstone was a Scottish footballer born on 18 May 1901 and who passed away in 1975. He played as an inside forward or centre forward for several clubs in Scotland and England. His career included time at King's Park and Clyde, with two spells at Clyde. During his tenure at Clyde, he was selected for the Glasgow Football Association's annual challenge match against Sheffield in September 1926, in which he scored twice. A few weeks later, he transferred to Reading. In his first season with Reading, he played a significant role in the club’s run to the FA Cup semi-finals in the 1926–27 season and scored the winning goal in a notable upset victory over reigning English champions Sheffield Wednesday in the same competition two years later. In summer 1929, Johnstone was signed by Arsenal and was part of the squad that won the Football League title in the 1930–31 season. However, he only made two appearances during that campaign. He subsequently moved to Oldham Athletic mid-season, seeking more playing opportunities, as breaking into Arsenal's strong attacking lineup proved difficult. His playing career reflects a notable presence in both Scottish and English football during the late 1920s and early 1930s.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
