Candice Patricia Bergen is an American actress born on May 9, 1946. She has received five Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for her portrayal of the title character in the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown, which aired from 1988 to 1998 and resumed in 2018. Bergen is also known for her role as Shirley Schmidt on the ABC drama Boston Legal, which aired from 2005 to 2008. Her film career includes nominations for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Starting Over in 1979 and for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Gandhi in 1982. Bergen began her career as a fashion model, appearing on the cover of Vogue before making her screen debut in the film The Group in 1966. She appeared in several notable films such as The Sand Pebbles, Soldier Blue, Carnal Knowledge, and The Wind and the Lion. She also made her Broadway debut in the play Hurlyburly in 1984 and starred in revivals including The Best Man in 2012 and Love Letters in 2014. Between 2002 and 2004, she appeared in three episodes of the HBO series Sex and the City. Her other film roles include Miss Congeniality, Sweet Home Alabama, The Women, Bride Wars, Book Club, and Let Them All Talk.

Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
