About Darren
Darren Charles King, born on June 25, 1982, is an American drummer and percussionist known for his work with the band Mutemath until his departure in August 2017. He has also played with the New Orleans–based Christian rock band Earthsuit briefly. King is recognized for his distinctive performance style, often seen wearing headphones gaffer-taped to his head for foldback, a technique previously associated with The Who's drummer Keith Moon. Growing up in Marshfield, Missouri, he has contributed to various musical projects, including remixing songs for artists such as Switchfoot and Hillsong United. His collaborations extend to members of the hip-hop and Christian music scenes; for instance, he played additional instrumentation on tracks by Kanye West and Travis Scott, and was involved in the production of Say Anything's seventh studio album. King married Stacy DuPree, a vocalist and keyboardist for Eisley, in July 2010; together they have two daughters. The family has also collaborated musically, forming the band Sucré. After leaving Mutemath in 2017, King has been active performing as a drummer, DJ, and front man under the name DK the Drummer, with plans to release an album titled Lockers Volume One. In 2024, he released a solo album called Temporal. In 2025, King publicly identified as a victim of sexual abuse by singer Michael Tait following allegations against Tait.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
