About Delcy
Delcy Eloína Rodríguez Gómez, born on 18 May 1969, is a Venezuelan politician and diplomat who has been serving as the acting president of Venezuela since 2026. She assumed this role after the United States carried out strikes in Venezuela and captured President Nicolás Maduro. Rodríguez is the first woman in Venezuelan history to perform the duties of the presidency. She is a member of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and previously served as the 24th vice president under Maduro from 2018 to 2026. Her political career began following the failed coup attempt against Hugo Chávez in 2002, when she entered politics alongside her elder brother Jorge. She was appointed Minister for Presidential Affairs by Chávez in 2006, a position she held for approximately six months. After Chávez's death in 2013, Nicolás Maduro became president and appointed Rodríguez as Minister of Popular Power for Communication and Information. In 2014, she was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, a role she held until 2017. Subsequently, she was designated President of the Constituent National Assembly following the 2017 election. Maduro appointed her vice president in 2018, and her responsibilities expanded to include roles such as Minister of Economy and Finance from 2020 to 2024 and Minister of Petroleum and Hydrocarbons from 2024. What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
