Edward Walter Olczyk Jr. is an American sportscaster and former professional ice hockey player and coach. He played as a center in the National Hockey League for 16 seasons, representing teams including the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Olczyk was a member of the Rangers' team that won the Stanley Cup in 1994. During his playing career, he appeared in 1,031 NHL games, scoring 342 goals and providing 452 assists for a total of 794 points. Notably, during the 1989–90 season, he scored a point in 18 consecutive games, which set a record for the longest streak by an American-born player at the time. Olczyk also served as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins from June 2003 to December 2005 and was the team's general manager from 2006 to 2009. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into broadcasting. Olczyk has served as a commentator for NHL on TNT and for Seattle Kraken games on the Kraken Hockey Network. He previously worked as a television color commentator for NHL on NBC until 2021 and continues to collaborate with NBC Sports as a handicapper and analyst for horse racing coverage. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in February 2013, recognizing his accomplishments on and off the ice.

Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
