About Ivan
Ivan Krastev, born in 1965 in Lukovit, Bulgaria, is a political scientist and the chairman of the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia. He serves as a permanent fellow at the Institute of Human Sciences in Vienna and was a Richard von Weizsäcker fellow at the Robert Bosch Stiftung in Berlin in 2013 and 2014. Krastev is a founding board member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the board of trustees of the International Crisis Group. He contributes opinion pieces to The New York Times and has held various other notable roles in international think tanks and organizations. Between 2004 and 2006, Krastev was the executive director of the International Commission on the Balkans, which was chaired by former Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato. He has also been the Editor-in-Chief of the Bulgarian edition of Foreign Policy and was a member of the Council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London from 2005 to 2011. Since 2016, Krastev has served as a director and trustee of the School of Civic Education in London, an organization linked to the Council of Europe's network of political studies schools. His published works include books on topics such as anti-corruption, global protests, democracy, and European politics, including titles like Shifting Obsessions, The Anti-American Century, In Mistrust We Trust, Democracy Disrupted, and After Europe. A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
