Jonathan Niven Cryer, born on April 16, 1965, is an American actor with a career spanning film and television. He made his film debut with a lead role in No Small Affair in 1984 and gained recognition for his portrayal of Duckie in the 1986 film Pretty in Pink. Cryer also starred in Morgan Stewart's Coming Home and Hiding Out in 1987 and played prominent roles in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Hot Shots! in 1987 and 1991 respectively. Additionally, he was the lead on the CBS sitcom The Famous Teddy Z from 1989 to 1990. During the late 1990s and 2000s, Cryer shifted focus to television, taking on roles such as Bob on Partners, Sam Wagner on Getting Personal, and Zack Mango on The Trouble with Normal. He appeared in the film Holy Man and was involved in writing, producing, and starring in the independent film Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five. Cryer experienced a career resurgence with his role as Alan Harper on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, which aired from 2003 to 2015. For this role, he received two Primetime Emmy Awards. He was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011. More recently, Cryer portrayed Lex Luthor on the CW series Supergirl from 2019 to 2021 and starred in the NBC sitcom Extended Family. His work continues with leading roles in television and film.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.

Do you offer a free trial?

Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
