Liza Minnelli

Liza May Minnelli, born on March 12, 1946, is an American actress, singer and dancer recognized for her commanding stage presence and powerful alto singing voice. She has received numerous accolades including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, an Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards and four Tony Awards. She is among the few performers to be awarded an honorary Grammy and has been honored as a Knight of the French Legion of Honour. Minnelli is the daughter of actress and singer Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli. Her film career includes performances in Lucky Lady, New York, New York and Arthur. She experienced a television resurgence as a recurring guest star on Arrested Development.
