Marla Gibbs, born Margaret Theresa Bradley on June 14, 1931, is an American actress, singer, comedian, writer, and television producer whose career spans seven decades. She is widely recognized for her role as Florence Johnston, George Jefferson's maid, on the CBS sitcom The Jeffersons, which aired from 1975 to 1985, earning her five nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Gibbs also starred in the show's spin-off Checking In and was a main cast member on NBC's 227, where she played the lead role of Mary Jenkins, co-produced the series, and performed the theme song. Throughout her career, she has received seven NAACP Image Awards. In addition to her television work, Gibbs has appeared in several films, including The Meteor Man, Lost & Found, The Visit, The Brothers, Madea's Witness Protection, Grantham & Rose, and Lemon. She has also appeared on television shows produced by Shondaland, such as Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy. In August 2021, Gibbs began portraying Olivia Price on the NBC daytime drama Days of Our Lives. Additionally, she played the character Sweet Gam Gam on The Thundermans. A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
