Michael Imperioli is an American actor known for his portrayal of Christopher Moltisanti in the HBO series The Sopranos, a role that earned him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2004. He has appeared in numerous films, including Goodfellas where he played Spider, Jungle Fever, Bad Boys, The Basketball Diaries, Shark Tale, The Lovely Bones, One Night in Miami, and Song Sung Blue. Imperioli co-wrote the screenplay for Summer of Sam with Spike Lee and contributed five episodes to the television series The Sopranos. His debut as a feature film director was with The Hungry Ghosts, which he also wrote. In 2022, he was nominated again for the Primetime Emmy Award for his role as Dominic Di Grasso in the second season of The White Lotus. On stage, Imperioli made his Broadway debut in the revival of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People in 2024. As of July 2025, he has been portraying the character Dutch in the Fox crime drama Memory of a Killer.
