About Peter
Peter Robert Garrett, born on 16 April 1953, is an Australian musician, environmentalist, activist, and former politician. He became the lead singer of the Australian rock band Midnight Oil in 1973, and is known for his signature bald head, eccentric dance style, and mesmerizing stage presence. Apart from his music career, Garrett served as President of the Australian Conservation Foundation for ten years, demonstrating his commitment to environmental causes. Garrett entered politics when he was elected as the Member of the House of Representatives for the seat of Kingsford Smith in the 2004 election representing the Labor Party. Following Labor's victory in the 2007 election, he was appointed Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. After the 2010 election, he served as Minister for School Education, Early Childhood and Youth under Prime Minister Julia Gillard. He resigned from his ministerial position after the 2013 leadership spill and announced his retirement from politics at the subsequent election. Throughout his career, Garrett has received various honors, including being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003 for his service to the community and the music industry. In 2009, the French Government named him an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters. The World Wide Fund for Nature honored him with their Leaders for a Living Planet Award in 2010, acknowledging his contributions to environmental conservation.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
