About Steve
Steven John Baker is a British former politician and member of the Conservative Party. He served as the Member of Parliament for Wycombe from 2010 to 2024. Baker held several government roles, including Minister of State for Northern Ireland from 2022 to 2024 and Minister of State in the Cabinet Office in 2024. He also served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union from 2017 to 2018. Baker was the chair of the European Research Group, a pro-Brexit faction within the Conservative Party, first from 2016 to 2017 and again from 2019 to 2020. During his time in Parliament, he was also an executive member of the 1922 Committee from 2012 to 2017. He was born in St Austell and attended Poltair School, the University of Southampton, and St Cross College, Oxford. Prior to his political career, Baker served in the Royal Air Force as an engineer from 1989 to 1999, afterward working as a consulting software engineer and manager. He was selected as the Conservative candidate for Wycombe in 2009 and was elected in the 2010 general election. Baker considered but did not pursue a bid for Conservative Party leadership in 2022; instead, he supported candidates such as Suella Braverman and Liz Truss during that period. After Truss's resignation, he endorsed Rishi Sunak and was reappointed to government roles under his leadership. Baker was sworn into the Privy Council in November 2023 and gained an additional role in the Cabinet Office in February 2024. He served in Parliament for 14 years before losing his seat in the 2024 general election to the Labour Party.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
