Travis Landon Barker is an American musician, songwriter, and music producer best known as the drummer for the rock band Blink-182. Born in Fontana, California, on November 14, 1975, he began drumming at an early age and initially played for the band The Aquabats in 1996 before joining Blink-182 in 1998. The band achieved mainstream success with their 1999 album Enema of the State. Barker has established himself as a versatile drummer, collaborating across multiple genres including hip hop, alternative rock, pop, and country. He has worked with a variety of artists, co-founded the rock band Plus 44, and has been a member of groups such as Transplants, Box Car Racer, Antemasque, and Goldfinger. Barker was a frequent collaborator with the late DJ AM, with whom he formed the duo TRV$DJAM. Recognized by Rolling Stone as punk's first superstar drummer and one of the 100 greatest drummers of all time, Barker has also pursued music production and guest appearances in multiple projects. In addition to his musical pursuits, he starred in the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers. Barker survived a plane crash in 2008 and subsequently released his debut solo album Give the Drummer Some in 2011. Barker is also known for his Vegan lifestyle and investments, including the Los Angeles vegan restaurant Crossroads Kitchen.
