Wendi McLendon-Covey, born October 10, 1969, is an American actress and comedian recognized for her work in comedic and improvisational roles. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Beverly Goldberg on the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs, a role she played from 2013 until 2023, which earned her two Critics' Choice Television Award nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. A native of Long Beach, California, McLendon-Covey graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2000, after working various jobs following high school. She became a member of The Groundlings, an improvisational comedy group in Los Angeles, where she remained until 2009. During her time with The Groundlings, she began her acting career and starred as Deputy Clementine Johnson in the improvisational series Reno 911! from 2003 to 2008 and again from 2020 to 2022. She also led the Lifetime comedy Lovespring International in 2006 and appeared in series such as Bewitched and Over Her Dead Body, along with a recurring role on Rules of Engagement from 2010 to 2013. Following her breakthrough performance in the 2011 comedy film Bridesmaids, McLendon-Covey expanded her filmography with roles in movies such as What to Expect When You’re Expecting, The Single Moms Club, Blended, Think Like a Man Too, Hello, My Name Is Doris, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, What Men Want, Sylvie's Love, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, and Elemental. In 2019, she played a lead role in the indie drama Blush. Since 2024, she has starred as Joyce in the NBC mockumentary sitcom St. Denis Medical.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
