About Yann
Yann Martel is a Canadian author born on June 25, 1963. He is best known for writing the novel Life of Pi, which won the Man Booker Prize and has been published in more than 50 territories. The book has sold over 12 million copies worldwide and spent more than a year on the bestseller lists of publications such as The New York Times and The Globe and Mail. Life of Pi was adapted into a film directed by Ang Lee, which received four Academy Awards, including Best Director, and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. Martel has authored several other works, including the novels The High Mountains of Portugal, Beatrice and Virgil, Son of Nobody, and Self. In addition, he has published a collection of stories titled The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios and a collection of letters to Canada's Prime Minister called 101 Letters to a Prime Minister. He has received multiple literary awards, such as the Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction in 2001 and the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature in 2002. Martel resides in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with writer Alice Kuipers and their four children. Although his first language is French, he writes primarily in English.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
