Episode #84
A Little Bit Of Ihe Niile
Aug 19, 202613 minS1
In this episode, I talked about my friend nicknaming my podcast `A Little Bit of ihe niile'. We then moved over to the fact that my friend and amazing nail tech decided it was best to send me a car that can be equated to the front of a tricycle after my cry for a car last week. I also went on a little rant about Skynet Transportation, their terrible customer service and the complete lack of accountability that comes with using them. And somehow, in the middle of all of this, I discovered that I have been spelling Michael wrong for years. Honestly, I don’t know how we got here either. But that’s the beauty of A Little Bit of Everything(ihe niile).
This week, I talked about public transport and the very uncomfortable experience that had me thinking, “Apparently, I need a car.” The funny part? I don’t even know how to drive. I also talked about groundnuts, dusty keke rides and how the little things we do can show what we actually care about and choose to prioritise. And, of course, friendship. Because if you want a friendship to last, you have to actually want to be someone’s friend. There will be misunderstandings, difficult moments and times when things get messy, but wanting the friendship is what makes you willing to work through them. Another week, another collection of random stories, opinions and lessons. Welcome back to A Little Bit of Everything. ❤️
No deep history lessons this week. It’s just me catching you up on life the only way I know how, by jumping from one story to another. From celebrating my friend who just became a radiographer to explaining how a stranger unknowingly started our friendship, to my Twinny emptying my wallet during her stay in Enugu, this episode goes everywhere. We also talk about the rude customer service, encounter at Oven & Batter, job vacancies, and a shuttle driver who reminded me that having manners is apparently becoming a luxury. It’s chaotic, it’s funny, it’s relatable… and somehow, it all makes sense in the end. It’s A Little Bit of Everything.
If you attended a Nigerian boarding school, this episode is going to unlock memories you didn’t even know you still had. Joining me today is my “twin,” Empress, as we relive our boarding school days from our very first day in school, unforgettable punishments, strict teachers, terrible food, hostel life, hilarious lies, and the friendships that made it all worth it. We also play a fun game of “Who Was Most Likely To…” and share stories we’ve laughed about for years, including why we convinced everyone we were twins. Whether you went to boarding school or not, this episode is packed with laughter, nostalgia, and stories you’ll definitely enjoy.
Neocolonialism: The Freedom Africa Never Really Had
Jul 22, 202612 minS1
What happened after African countries gained independence? Did colonialism really end, or did it simply change its face? In this episode, we explore the rise of neocolonialism and how powerful foreign nations continued to influence African politics long after the colonial flags came down. We examine the wave of assassinations and military coups that reshaped the continent, including the deaths and overthrows of leaders such as Sylvanus Olympio, Patrice Lumumba, Kwame Nkrumah, Ahmed Ben Bella, Modibo Keïta, and many others. We also discuss how the Cold War turned Africa into a battlefield for foreign interests, with the United States and the Soviet Union backing different governments and leaders. The conversation also highlights the role of Pan-African leaders like Julius Nyerere, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Habib Bourguiba, and later Muammar Gaddafi, alongside the formation of the Frontline States, whose mission was to help liberate Southern Africa from colonial rule and apartheid. This episode asks one central question: Can a nation truly be independent if others still influence its politics, economy, and leadership?
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
