B2B Podcasting Insights is for founders, CMOs, consultants, and solo operators who want their podcast to shorten their B2B sales cycle and improve their audience engagement, leading to a better quality of inbound conversations. Most branded podcasts, designed by businesses, are content wallpaper — polite, vague, interchangeable, and strategically pointless. This show is the opposite. Because podcasting isn’t about brand awareness. It’s about belief — specifically, the kind that makes a prospect say “Yeah, I already trust you.” We talk positioning, message clarity, buying triggers, narrative leverage, and how to use your voice as a strategic asset. Straight talk. No fluff. No “10 tips”. Just how to make your branded B2B podcast actually move deals.

Nine Podcast Strategies That ACTUALLY Work. The Last One Will Shock You!

For the first five minutes of this episode, it's not me. Jase is a B2B podcast growth guru. Jase has never listened to a single episode of this show. And Jase has nine strategies for scaling yours that he's giving away free, because that's the kind of guy he is. B2B Podcasting: The Only Listener You Actually Need
Aug 14, 202617 min
If you've got a B2B podcast and you're waiting for the feed to do the work, this episode reframes the whole thing. Publishing gets the episode into the world. It doesn't get it into the one pair of ears that matters. Because your podcast's most valuable listen this year won't come from someone discovering you. It'll come from one prospect, three or four weeks into a decision, who gets sent one specific episode on a Tuesday morning because of something they said on Monday afternoon. That person doesn't follow your show. They're not on your YouTube channel. They've never seen a single one of your clips. And their one listen is worth more to your business than a thousand downloads. I'm Neal Veglio, and in this episode of B2B Podcasting Insights I'm finally explaining the secret sauce I hinted at back in episode 44 — why a branded podcast is a joint venture asset between sales and marketing, and why almost every B2B show is quietly stranded between two teams who each think it belongs to the other. We look at the one document that fixes it (and why it has to live in the CRM, not a marketing folder), why "here's our episodes, help yourself" is a buffet nobody's hungry for, the three-part message that actually gets an episode listened to, why you should timestamp every single send, and why it has to come from sales rather than marketing to work at all. There's also the loop this creates: sales conversations produce the episodes, the episodes go back into the sales conversations, and the replies tell you which arguments are landing. Which is a far better signal than any dashboard is ever going to give you. Plus a Founder FAQ from Fiona in Dundee on hating the sound of your own voice, and a quick tip that fixes the flattest thirty seconds of most podcasts. These are your branded podcast's next four episodes
Aug 7, 202621 min
If you're planning your next few B2B podcast episodes off a content calendar, you're commissioning content that nobody asked for. That list isn't a commissioning list. It's a list of things that exist. Listicles. Generic advice aimed at nobody in particular. Ideas that came from a brainstorm rather than from a buyer. I'm Neal Veglio, and in this episode of B2B Podcasting Insights, I'm handing you the exact framework I use with corporate clients to generate their next four episodes — and I can guarantee not one of them is on your content calendar, even in draft. Because they don't come from topics. They come from your ideal buyers and what they're actually trying to find out. We cover the two questions to ask your three most recent clients, why twenty minutes of back-and-forth is worth more than a quarter of planning, and the four-episode sequence that mirrors the order a belief actually changes in — name the problem, kill the cheaper alternative, kill the objection that kills the deals, and make moving forward feel safe. There's also a worked example using a real listener's business, three more places your next episodes are already hiding, and the reason you'll end up with six episodes rather than four. Plus a Founder FAQ from Dawn in Stockport on batch recording twelve episodes ahead, and a quick tip that will change the order you do everything in. B2B Founders: Have You Written Your One Winning Sentence Yet?
Jul 31, 202620 min
If you've got a B2B podcast and you're 30, 40, 60 episodes in without much to show for it, the problem probably isn't your microphone, your cadence or your cover art. It's that nobody ever wrote the sentence. Most branded podcasts get built like a content marketing task with tickable boxes. Format, length, weekly or fortnightly, video or not video. All of those are construction details, and construction details are only right or wrong in accordance with a wider plan. I'm Neal Veglio, and in this episode of B2B Podcasting Insights, I'm walking you through the one winning sentence — the single line that everything else in your podcast should be downstream of, and the reason most B2B shows quietly never get anywhere. We cover why a mission statement is worse than useless for your buyers, the three-part test that tells you whether your sentence actually works, why "build brand awareness" is a horoscope prediction rather than a job, and why your sales team should be hearing every episode before your feed does. There's also the bit nobody expects: you don't need to relaunch, and you don't need to bin the back catalogue. Following 'Best Practice' is KILLING Your B2B Podcast!
Jul 24, 202618 min
Everyone hands you the same B2B podcast checklist: publish weekly, grow your audience, keep it short, hook them in the first 15 seconds, book big-name guests, repurpose everything. Follow all of it and you'll build a podcast that's technically excellent, sounds exactly like everyone else's — and sells nothing. Hi, I'm Neal Veglio, founder of Podknows Podcasting and in this episode I'm making the case that "best practice" is the satnav voice of the entire podcasting industry: the average of what worked on the average podcast, read aloud with total certainty by people who've rarely worked on a show that isn't their own. It'll make you brilliant at being average. And a brilliantly average podcast doesn't pay your mortgage. So what do we do instead? Ah, well, that's what this episode is for. Chapters 00:00 Cold open: the moral of the story - a satnav that drove a man into a lake 02:37 Best practice is the satnav voice of the whole industry 03:02 You don't want an average podcast 03:55 That confident "2.5 million downloads" voice online 04:25 The real problem: optimising for the wrong thing 04:43 Your podcast's job — move the buyers you already have 04:53 A dashboard number is not a payment-link click 05:01 How best practice homogenises your show into noise 05:32 Technically excellent, but ultimately forgettable 05:51 Content pillars are the illusion of strategy 06:10 Why "best practice as wisdom" is slightly lethal 06:57 "Publish weekly": cadence is a production metric 07:11 "Grow your audience": 12,000 wrong listeners vs 12 buyers 07:41 "Keep it short": B2B buying is high consideration 08:11 "Hook them in 15 seconds": imported from retention farming 09:09 "Book big-name guests": their audience isn't your buyer 10:03 "Repurpose everything": thinner effort, decontextualised noise 10:41 Best practice isn't wrong — it's premature 11:01 The only question that matters: what's your podcast's job? 11:49 Define the job and best practice writes itself 13:09 How the Podknows Diagnostic sets your destination 13:40 Founder FAQ: "No video means it's not a real podcast?" 16:28 Quick tip: check Apple & Spotify - here's why Take the next step B2B Podcast Growth Diagnostic → https://podknows.co.uk/diagnostic Podcast Audits → https://podknows.co.uk/audits Podknows Website → https://podknows.co.uk Watch more episodes of B2B Podcasting Insights → https://podknows.co.uk/b2bpi
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
