Behind The Headlines | Fighting the Sark fire
A fire spanning 20,000 square metres, that needed 400,000 litres of water to extinguish scorched Little Sark on Friday 10 July 2026. Sark Fire and Rescue Service Chief Officer, Kevin Adams, showed Laura Clayton around the fire site just days later, and she also met some of the people who were first on the scene to tackle the fire - Community First Responder Glen Williams, and his stepson, Ollie Rapkin.
