Divorce "Glow-Ups"? What A Joke! - SFTS 135
Sep 1, 20267 min
===SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT===Have you been hit with the term "Divorce Glow-Up" yet? Basically, a bunch of divorced women are going around on social media bragging (or is that perpetrating) how they're hotter, healthier and even happier after a divorce. Sure, women are going to flex some "girl power" with each other once in a while. But is there a deeper and more troubling message here? And how does it matter to us as men? Take the quick Reality Check Survey to get clear on where you really are and what to do about it next: https://mountaintoppodcast.com/realitycheck === HELP US SEND THE MESSAGE TO GREAT MEN EVERYWHERE === Snippets From The Summit are all about completely original ideas for success with women that also happen to be extremely effective...and actionable. It's all built on the "Big Four": Confidence, Masculinity, Liking Women, and Good Character. Better men get better women. Co-Host Dr. Kyle Hulsebus (https://mountaintoppodcast.com/40over40) My first-time guest Dr. Kyle Hulsebus is a health and human potential specialist, author, and third-generation chiropractor. All of that has focused his attention on a theory that should be of extreme interest for any man who wants to be at his best when relating to women. Indeed, his 40over40 longevity series claims sex after 40 is a health signal. Kyle's work redefines health as an internal mind/body state where purpose, relationships, work, and physical well-being function together. He argues that most midlife decline starts with a loss of direction, long before a lab test catches it. Although there is definitely both a spiritual and a metaphysical side to it all, Kyle's approach is 100% practical. No scripts, no supplements pitch, just what actually keeps a body working past 40.Tip #20 out of his 40 is "make love". Kyle explains it's less about sex for sex's sake and more about connection, honest communication, and what happens in the body when people stop hiding their desires. He raises a real question: are people talking openly with their partners about desire, or carrying it privately, or unpacking it anonymously somewhere else entirely? So, why is making love after 40 is part of your health, not an optional extra? Why are so many over 40 are in silent health decline? (hint: it's not testosterone) Why is it some people can connect almost immediately, but others can go years with no connection at all? Why Both Sexes Think The Other Is Impossible To Figure Out - MTP 134
Aug 25, 20268 min
===SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT===For millennia men and women have been trying to figure each other out. But the ironic part is both genders think they're easy to figure out. What's actually going on there? Well, that's the part nobody ever stops to think about...until now. As it turns out, when we stop thinking of the other gender as from some other planet, or even as some other species, that's when the picture becomes crystal clear. The ramifications of figuring this out are massive for not only how attractive you are to women, but how successful your relationships with them will be (and vice-versa, of course!) Thriving In Public, Struggling In Private - MTP 526
Aug 20, 202640 min
Co-Host Mike Basevic (https://mountaintoppodcat.com/nolimits) Mike Basevic had it all, and then lost it all. As I read his story, I realized it sounded a lot like mine. That's no coincidence, as it happens to a lot of men. We go through lives holding it all together and looking good on the outside, but inside we're falling apart. How do we "man up" in those circumstances and get real? In our culture, it sounds like an oxymoron to even think like that. But high performing men in particular are the most likely ones to look like they have it all, but be empty inside...privately battling anxiety, stress, overwhelm and yes...imposter syndrome. Could this be why so many "well put together" men aren't finding the right woman? According to Mike, "Everything you want in life is on the other side of your resistance." So why is it that the "country club set" are so often the most miserable people inside? What is the real reason most men won't even seek help when they're at a low point? How does being "perfectly imperfect" apply to us as men in a good way? There are basically two camps of people in Western culture. Which one you're in will greatly affect how much you struggle in private. Most men refuse to forgive themselves for past failures, whether that's in their career, their family, or even with women. Why is that? One thing is for sure: Unless and until your authentic side is ready to show up and show out, you will continue to struggle with women. Getting The Girl Depends On Your Moves, Not Hers - SFTS 133
Aug 18, 20269 min
===SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT===We've been told not to give attractive women straight answers, and to avoid looking "needy" at all costs. But what's the collateral damage when we completely retreat from telling a woman our real intentions? Too many of us as men are sick and tired of getting lukewarm answers from women who we're never sure are really interested in us. But here's the good news: Your leadership as a man is the difference that makes the difference. As always in any social situation, especially with women, reading the room matters. Tune in to this brief episode for practical steps, backed by a solid example from the TV show Heroes.
