  Can a Christian Shipwreck Their Faith? | 1 Timothy 1 Explained

In 1 Timothy 1, Paul charges Timothy to confront false doctrine, reject empty speculation, and pursue the kind of leadership that flows from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith. The chapter also raises a sobering question: what does Paul mean when he says some people have “shipwrecked” their faith? We also look at Paul’s own testimony. He describes himself as a former blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent who received mercy.   “Charge It to Me” — The Gospel Hidden in Philemon
