Dr. Loeb is Adjunct Professor, Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University in Clemson, SC and Research Ecologist Emeritus in the Upland Hardwood Ecology and Management Research Unit for the USDA Forest Service, Southern Research Station, Clemson, SC. We chatted about the evolution of her research with bats, the bats of the eastern US, conservation concerns, the effects of white-nose syndrome, and how we can all contribute to bat science and conservation.
