Neighborly Knockabout! Steve Urkel vs Wilson | Mass Debate
On this week's episode, the cul-de-sac becomes a goddamn war zone as Kraig and Jed feud over the fence to determine which 90s sitcom neighbor deserves the keys to our collective heart: Steve Urkel or Wilson! Kraig comes crashing through the drywall for Team Urkel, arguing that Steve was a suspender-powered comedy neutron bomb who went from annoying neighbor kid to basically turning Family Matters into the Steve Urkel Show. Jed fires back that Urkel's Pepé Le Pew-style pursuit of Laura has aged like milk. Jed instead backs Wilson, the mystical Fence Yoda of Home Improvement, who could diagnose Tim Taylor's latest existential crisis using half a face, an obscure historical anecdote, and absolutely no invitation to be involved. Kraig calls bullshit, dismissing Wilson as a one-note suburban creep who spent eight years lurking behind shrubbery dispensing unsolicited white-savior wisdom like a Peeping Tom with a philosophy degree. Moderator Kirk tries desperately to keep everybody on their own side of the fence as the property values plummet around him. It's Urkelmania vs Wilsonian wisdom, nerd next door vs sage behind the hedge, and this one just might even turn Mister Rogers into a neighborhood watch vigilante, on this boundary pushing episode of Mass Debate!
