Lucas and Luna drill into the reality of building a company without a dime of outside capital. Each episode takes a single bootstrapped business — a solo founder, a two-person partnership, a micro-SaaS that grew to seven figures without a term sheet — and traces the actual arithmetic: how much revenue they needed to replace a salary, the moment they hired their first employee from cash flow, the pricing experiments that didn't work. Lucas brings the numbers — churn rates, customer acquisition costs, unit economics — while Luna pushes on the human trade-offs: the loneliness of being the only decision-maker, the temptation to take money when a competitor raises, the gut-check of turning down a customer who doesn't fit the product. They never pretend bootstrapping is morally superior; they just ask whether the freedom of owning 100% of a small, profitable company is worth the slower growth. Every episode is built around a real case — from Basecamp to Mailchimp's early days to current indi

Bootstrapped Businesses Winning With Unit Economics
Oct 2, 202610 minS5
In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how bootstrapped founders use unit economics as their primary compass for growth. Rather than chasing vanity metrics like total downloads or broad revenue tops, they focus on the profitability of a single transaction. We break down a specific case study of a SaaS company that doubled its margins by rethinking its acquisition cost versus lifetime value ratio. This is about sustainable, self-funded scaling where every dollar earned proves the model works before you spend another one. #BootstrappedBusiness #UnitEconomics #ProfitFirstGrowth #LeanOperations #SaaSMargins #CustomerAcquisitionCost #LifetimeValue #CashFlowManagement #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #StartupStrategy #RevenuePerUser #OperationalEfficiency #FounderMindset #SelfFundedStartups #FinancialDiscipline #GrowthHacking #LucasAndLuna Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Bootstrapped Founders Master Product-Led Pricing
Oct 1, 20269 minS5
In this episode, Lucas and Luna examine how self-funded companies like Atlassian and Canva use product-led pricing to drive growth without venture capital. They explore the specific mechanics of freemium models, the psychology of value-based pricing, and why bootstrapped firms often outperform funded competitors in customer lifetime value. We break down a real case study of a SaaS company that increased revenue by thirty percent simply by restructuring its tiered offerings. How Bootstrapped Founders Sell Without a Sales Team
Sep 30, 202610 minS5
We explore how bootstrapped companies replace traditional sales departments with product-led motion and radical operational simplicity. Using the example of Basecamp’s flat-fee model versus subscription churn, we discuss why some founders refuse to hire account executives. We look at the math of customer acquisition cost when your only marketing is word-of-mouth and transparent pricing. This episode breaks down the specific friction points where self-funded teams lose deals by trying to mimic venture-backed playbooks. Learn how to build a revenue engine that scales without hiring a single new person. #Bootstrapping #ProductLedGrowth #SaaS #RevenueModel #CustomerAcquisition #LeanStartup #Basecamp #37Signals #SalesTeam #MRR #ChurnRate #PricingStrategy #OrganicGrowth #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Entrepreneurship #ProfitFirst #SelfFunded #NoVentureCapital Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most bootstrapped founders treat growth like a linear equation, but scaling operations is actually a geometric problem. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dissect the specific operational friction that kills self-funded companies at the five-million-dollar mark. Using the example of a fictional software firm, they explore why hiring speed matters more than revenue growth and how to build systems that don't collapse under their own weight. If you are building without venture capital, understanding the geometry of your team structure is the difference between sustainable profit and chaotic burnout. #BootstrappedBusiness #LeanOperations #ScalingChallenges #ProfitFirstGrowth #OperationalFriction #SelfFundedFounders #BusinessStrategy #CashFlowManagement #TeamBuilding #StartupEconomics #RevenueGrowth #OrganizationalDesign #FounderMindset #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #Entrepreneurship #SmallBusinessTips #SustainableGrowth Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
