Episode #532
532. Frank Bello (Anthrax)
Join Frank and I as we talk about the bands upcoming album, "Curium Perficio" out September 18th via Megaforce Records and Nuclear Blast Records respectively. We discuss what it means to be in a band that's been around for over 40 years, and how Frank and the band have managed to navigate an ever-changing music industry while still remaining true to who they are. Frank shares some humorous stories about how things have changed for him and the guys over the decades of touring, how it's still about having fun with friends on the road, but now it also includes making sure to do yoga and playing with ingrown toenails and such. Frank and I discuss how therapy helped each of us as we get older in life, living life to the fullest in memory of family and friends we've lost along the way, and if the title of the album is a clue that maybe this might be the bands last.
