Personal Growth Changes Your Relationships: The Psychology of Becoming
Aug 18, 202621 minS5
Personal growth can change your relationships in ways you never expected. In this episode of BUILD IT, BABY! , Penelope Bent explores the complicated relationship between success, identity, and the people around us. She looks at what happens after we become successful—and how growth can change the way we think, spend our time, take risks, and see our future. What happens when the people we love don’t grow in the same direction? Penelope also talks honestly about the temptation to shrink yourself to keep other people comfortable, the difference between people who can’t walk the next part of the journey with you and those who simply won’t, and why some relationships are meant for a season rather than a lifetime. She also answers a listener question about career change and whether we’re really running away—or being nudged toward something new. Ultimately, becoming isn’t something that happens by accident. It happens through choice, courage, and continuing to build, even when building changes us. Send us your questions or comments! BUILD IT, BABY! is a Rainy Day Production House original. Building Through Uncertainty, Grief, and Life’s Setbacks
Aug 11, 202630 minS5
Building through difficult times requires us to rethink what progress actually looks like. Life doesn't always follow our plans, and sometimes the best we can give is 12%—and that's okay. In this episode of BUILD IT, BABY! , Penelope Bent talks about what happens when momentum is interrupted by grief, illness, caregiving, financial stress, relationship changes, or other unexpected moments. She explores the difference between slowing down and giving up, and why changing your pace doesn't mean you've abandoned your purpose. Penelope also shares a deeply personal story about receiving a major new client contract just as her husband experienced a serious medical emergency. She explains how commitment to her work helped bring her back to center during an overwhelming moment. Later, she answers a listener question about stress and worry, sharing why she prefers action over rumination, prepares ahead instead of relying on last-minute adrenaline, and reaches out to trusted people when she needs to talk things through. The message is simple: you don't have to build everything today. You simply have to keep building. Send us your questions or comments! BUILD IT, BABY! is a Rainy Day Production House original. The best ideas often come from having the right thinking partner. Initially, Penelope Bent believed BUILD IT, BABY! would be a podcast about building businesses. But through countless conversations, she discovered it was really about something much deeper: the person we become while we're building. In this episode, she shares how asking better questions—and giving herself the freedom to explore ideas without judgment—helped uncover the true heart of the show. Rather than focusing on artificial intelligence as technology, she explores how any trusted sounding board, whether it's a mentor, coach, friend, or AI, can create the space for deeper thinking, greater clarity, and more authentic decision-making. Penelope also answers a listener question about identifying a viable business idea, walking through the importance of evaluating your own skills, understanding market demand, thinking realistically about profitability, and why service businesses can often be easier to launch than product-based companies. If you're building a business, navigating a career change, or simply trying to better understand your own purpose, this conversation is a reminder that the quality of your future is often shaped by the quality of the questions you're willing to ask. The Hidden Transition: Becoming Who Your Next Chapter Requires
Jul 28, 202633 minS5
Every meaningful life transition begins with an identity shift. Whether you're building a business, stepping into leadership, changing careers, returning to work, or simply feeling the pull toward something bigger, the hardest part isn't the work itself—it's becoming the person your next chapter requires. In this episode, Penelope Bent explores what she calls "the hidden transition"—the internal transformation that quietly happens before any meaningful external success. She shares personal stories from launching BUILD IT, BABY! , lessons learned through entrepreneurship, and why every new season asks us to let go of an old identity in order to grow into a new one. This conversation is for anyone standing at a crossroads, wondering who they're becoming and what comes next. Penelope reflects on trust, delegation, leadership, founder mindset, and the courage it takes to step into unfamiliar territory. If you've ever felt caught between who you've been and who you're becoming, this episode is a reminder that growth isn't about abandoning your past—it's about allowing every version of yourself to prepare you for what's ahead. Experience is one of our greatest assets—but only if it continues to evolve. In this episode of BUILD IT, BABY! , Penelope Bent explores the difference between experience and stagnation, challenging the idea that age is what determines our relevance. Drawing from years in recruiting, leadership, and business, she shares why curiosity, adaptability, energy, and a willingness to keep growing often matter far more than the number of years on a résumé. It's an honest conversation about staying engaged, embracing change, and refusing to let life convince you that your best chapters are already behind you. Penelope also answers a listener question about balancing a full-time job while building a business, offering practical advice for creating momentum without sacrificing the life you're working so hard to build. Whether you're navigating a career transition, considering your next chapter, or simply looking for a renewed sense of purpose, this episode is an invitation to keep learning, keep building, and never stop becoming. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
