Back-to-School Help for Kids with DMDD, ADHD, Autism and Emotional Dysregulation: Set Your Child Up for Success
Aug 18, 202623 minS3
Back-to-school can be exciting, but for kids with ADHD, autism, anxiety, sensory needs, executive functioning challenges, or emotional dysregulation, the transition can also bring overwhelm, meltdowns, exhaustion, and big emotions. In this episode we talk about practical ways to help neurodivergent kids adjust to school routines, reduce after-school dysregulation, prepare for common trouble spots, and build stronger communication with teachers from the start. You’ll learn how to: Recognize when back-to-school behavior may actually be overwhelm or nervous system overload. Reduce unnecessary demands while your child adjusts to a new schedule and environment. Support executive functioning with simple routines, visual tools, and predictable systems. Protect after-school decompression time to help prevent meltdowns and emotional explosions. Identify common trouble spots before they become daily battles. Communicate proactively with your child’s teacher in a positive, collaborative way. Watch patterns, gather information, and respond with curiosity instead of panic. Jami also shares a printable teacher information form you can complete and give to your child’s teacher to highlight strengths, sensory needs, triggers, helpful supports, and important information that can help the school better understand your child. A difficult first week does not mean you are headed for a difficult year. With a little preparation, realistic expectations, and the right supports, you can help your child begin the school year with more calm, connection, and confidence. Listen now and start setting your child, and yourself, up for a stronger back-to-school transition. Maternal Mental Health, Medication and Stigma: When Mental Health Headlines Trigger Fear
Aug 12, 202622 minS3
Maternal mental health, medication, postpartum depression, and the stigma surrounding treatment can already feel overwhelming. When a tragic mental-health story dominates the headlines, it can stir up even more fear for moms and parents trying to make thoughtful decisions for themselves or their children. In this episode of Calm Connection Parenting, Jami shares encouragement from her own experience with postpartum depression, depression during motherhood, and advocating for a child struggling with mental health. This is not medical advice, but a calm reminder that fear, stigma, and other people’s opinions should not make these deeply personal treatment decisions for you. In this episode, you’ll hear: • Why mental-health headlines can be especially triggering for moms and parents already wrestling with depression, anxiety, or medication decisions • How stigma and unsolicited opinions can quietly influence the way we think about mental-health treatment for ourselves and our children • What healthy advocacy can look like when you have concerns, questions, or feel like you are not being fully heard • How to filter fear from helpful information so you can move forward with greater confidence, discernment, and support If current events have left you questioning mental-health treatment, feeling judged about medication, or remembering your own difficult season, this episode offers a calmer place to sort through the noise. Seeking help takes courage. Asking questions does not make you anti-treatment. And advocating for yourself or your child can be an important part of getting good care. When Church Has Hurt Your Neurodivergent Child or Family: Grace, Grief, Support, and What to Do Next
Jul 28, 202635 minS2
When church has hurt your family, it can bring up grief, sadness, and even shame. For parents of neurodivergent children or kids with ADHD, autism, anxiety, DMDD, sensory needs, emotional dysregulation, or challenging behaviors, Sunday morning may feel especially difficult when your child is misunderstood, labeled, excluded, or unsupported. In this second episode of our series, When Church Feels Hard for Neurodivergent Children and Families , we are talking directly to parents who have experienced painful church situations or church hurt. If your child has said they hate church, if you feel judged by others, or if you are wondering whether to keep trying, ask for help, take a break, or find a different church, this episode will help you sort through the hurt with compassion and clarity. You’ll learn the GRACE framework : Grieve what has been hard, Recognize the real barrier, Ask for specific support, Consider the response, and Evaluate the next right step. In this episode, we talk about: Why church hurt can feel especially painful when you hoped church would be a place of grace, support, and belonging How to separate your child’s struggle with church from their relationship with God or future faith How to use the GRACE framework to name the hurt, identify your child’s needs, and ask for specific support When to keep advocating, when to take a break, and when it may be wise to consider a church that can better support your family This episode also includes practical scripts you can use when talking with a pastor, children’s ministry leader, Sunday school teacher, youth leader, or trusted church volunteer. What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
