Career transitions feel like a leap into the dark. In Career Compass with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna turn the daily job search into a strategic process grounded in real numbers and named cases. Each episode examines one concrete career decision—whether it's negotiating a counteroffer, pivoting into a new industry, or evaluating a promotion with no raise. Lucas brings the latest labor-market data, from Bureau of Labor Statistics reports to compensation benchmarks at companies like McKinsey and Google. Luna pushes back with psychology-backed tactics for networking, interviewing, and building a personal brand that sticks. Together, they dissect anonymized listener stories: a marketer stuck at a Series B startup weighing a move to a FANG role, a recent grad choosing between a high-paying offer and a mission-driven nonprofit, a mid-career engineer debating an executive MBA. They never promise 'ten steps to your dream job.' Instead, they show how to gather the right information, weigh trade-off

How to Run a Career Reverse Interview
Aug 21, 20269 minS4
Ever feel like you're the one being interviewed when you should be the one asking questions? In this episode of Career Compass, Lucas and Luna explore the 'reverse interview' — a structured way to flip the script and vet your next employer before you say yes. Using the example of a software engineer who asked her future manager about 'the last time someone cried at work', they show how these questions can reveal company culture, team dynamics, and leadership style in ways standard interviews miss. They walk through how to prepare your own reverse interview list, which questions work best at different stages of the hiring process, and how to read the answers (and the non-answers). If you're job hunting or just curious about what to ask next time, this episode gives you a practical framework to take control of the conversation. #ReverseInterview #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #InterviewTips #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #HiringProcess #CompanyCulture #CareerStrategy #JobHunt #InterviewQuestions #CareerCompass #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Careers #WorkplaceCulture #Leadership #JobSeeker Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of Career Compass, Lucas and Luna explore a fresh angle: the career blind spot audit. They dig into why even high performers miss their own weaknesses, using the Dunning-Kruger effect and a 2017 study from Cornell University as a springboard. Along the way, they share a practical three-step exercise to surface blind spots—structured feedback, a 'pre-mortem' of your own decisions, and tracking recurring patterns in your calendar. They also touch on how to respond when peer reviews reveal uncomfortable truths, and how to turn that feedback into a growth plan without losing confidence. Listeners will walk away with a concrete framework to run their own audit this week, plus a reminder that the most dangerous blind spot is thinking you don't have any. With practical scripts and real-world examples, this episode gives you the confidence to walk into your next salary discussion prepared—no matter the outcome. In this episode of Career Compass, Lucas and Luna explore the concept of a career stress test — a structured way to assess how much pressure your current role can take before you hit a breaking point. They use the example of a software engineer who ran a stress test after three straight quarters of crunch time, and discovered the real issue wasn't the hours but the lack of decision-making autonomy. The hosts walk through practical steps: mapping your stressors, measuring your energy and resilience, and setting trigger points for action. They also share a personal anecdote about a recruiter who used a stress test to decide between two job offers. By the end, you'll have a concrete framework to evaluate your own career stability before a crisis forces your hand. Whether you're feeling the heat or just want to be prepared, this episode gives you a proactive tool to protect your professional wellbeing. #CareerStressTest #WorkplaceBurnout #JobSatisfaction #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerAdvice #WorkLifeBalance #Resilience #BurnoutPrevention #CareerPlanning #SelfAssessment #StressManagement #CareerStrategy #JobSearchTips #ProfessionalDevelopment #Careers #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of Career Compass, Lucas and Luna explore the career gap analysis—a structured way to identify what's missing between where you are and where you want to be. They break down the three types of gaps (skills, experience, and network), show how to map them using a simple three-column exercise, and discuss how to prioritize which gap to close first. Using a real-world example of a marketing coordinator aiming for a product manager role, they walk through five concrete steps: defining your target role, listing requirements, auditing your current state, scoring the gaps, and creating a 90-day action plan. Lucas shares how he used this method to move from journalism to business podcasting, and Luna offers a cautionary tale about the 'shadow gap'—the gap between what you think you need and what the market actually values. They also touch on how to use informational interviews to test assumptions and avoid wasting time on the wrong skills. Perfect for anyone feeling stuck in their career or planning a pivot, this episode gives you a practical framework to turn vague dissatisfaction into a clear roadmap. #CareerGapAnalysis #CareerCompass #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Careers #JobSearch #ProfessionalGrowth #SkillsGap #CareerPivot #CareerMapping #LucasAndLuna #ProductManager #MarketingCoordinator #InformationalInterviews #90DayPlan #CareerStrategy #CareerDevelopment #PodcastEpisode158 Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
