Can You Afford to Hire? The 3 Numbers to Run First
Jul 14, 20269 minS2
You know you need help, but can your business actually afford to hire? Most business owners make hiring decisions one of two ways: they look at today’s bank balance and assume they’re fine, or they wait until they’re completely overwhelmed and make a rushed decision out of frustration. Neither one is strategy. In this episode, I’m walking through the three financial questions to answer before you bring someone new into the business. What I cover: How to calculate the true total cost of a hire Why salary alone is not the real number How to know whether a hire generates revenue, saves revenue, or neither Why your next 90 days of cash flow matter more than your P&L How to decide whether you can afford to hire, or whether you can afford not to The right hire at the right time is not just a cost. It is an investment, but only when the numbers support it. I use this exact calculator with my private CFO clients to increase revenue without increasing workload...now it's yours. Before You Launch Something New, Protect This First
Jul 7, 20268 minS2
Launching something new can feel exciting, whether it's a new offer, a new location, or an entirely new division. But the biggest risk isn't always that the new thing fails, it’s that it quietly drains the cash, focus, and stability from the part of your business that's already working. In this episode, I walk through exactly what to put in place BEFORE you launch, so your existing business stays healthy while you invest in something new. What I cover: Why you need to track your new launch separately, even without a new bank account How to set revenue and expense targets that act like an internal alarm When to stop pulling cash from your existing business Why modeling ‘what-if’ scenarios protect you before cash gets tight Stop letting a new launch put the business you've already built at risk. The True Cost of a Low Performer (It's More Than Their Salary)
Jun 30, 20269 minS2
Think that underperforming team members are only costing you what you pay them in payroll? Think again. In this episode, we are diving into the catastrophic, hidden effects of keeping the wrong person on your team for too long. Fireable offenses aren't always massive blowups; more often, it’s a slow burn of negativity, missed expectations, and slacking off that erodes your business from the inside out. We break down what I call the "management tax:” the exhausting amount of time you waste coaching and correcting someone who isn't a fit, and how a single bad hire can cause your absolute best employees to jump ship. What we cover: Why keeping an underperformer destroys the morale of your top-tier talent. The "Management Tax" and how it steals time from revenue-generating activities. The 4 specific numbers you need to run to calculate the real financial and energetic cost of a bad fit. Why the first time you think about letting someone go is usually the exact time to do it. Stop letting a bad fit drag down the business you’ve worked so hard to build. #TeamBuilding #CompanyCulture #SmallBusinessTips #ManagementAdvice #Leadership #BusinessGrowth I use this exact calculator with my private CFO clients to increase revenue without increasing workload...now it’s yours. Why You're "Profitable" But Have No Cash In The Bank
Jun 16, 20266 minS2
It’s the ultimate business owner nightmare: your financial statements say you are crushing it, but you're struggling to make payroll or draw a consistent salary. In this episode of Cashflow Confidence , we break down the critical difference between taxable profit and actual cash flow. If you've ever found yourself wondering how you can owe the IRS money when your bank balance is low, this conversation is for you. We discuss the exact pitfalls of poor invoicing tracking, why net terms can sink your business if they aren't managed with tight follow-up processes, and why treating your salary as an afterthought is killing your growth. What we cover: The $15,000 invoicing mistake that leaves businesses stranded. How to establish strict payment terms (Net 15, Net 30, or due on sale) that clients actually respect. The psychology of "leftover" pay and why your owner salary needs to be a non-negotiable line item. Make your business work for you , not just your team.
What would happen if your biggest client called tomorrow and said they weren't renewing? Would your business be fine, or would you be scrambling? In this episode of Cash Flow Confidence, Shelby Ashley walks through exactly how business owners can prepare for the loss of a major client before it happens. You'll learn: ✅ How to identify client concentration risk ✅ Why a full pipeline is your best insurance policy ✅ How to diversify revenue and reduce dependence on one client ✅ Contract clauses every service business should consider ✅ Why every business should have a cash reserve ✅ When to get a line of credit (before you need it!) Losing clients is part of business. The difference between panic and confidence comes down to preparation. #CashFlowConfidence #BusinessGrowth #CashFlow #BusinessOwner #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneur #BusinessFinance

If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
