  July is Disability Pride Month—a time to recognize, celebrate, and amplify the voices, experiences, accomplishments, and contributions of people with disabilities.  This year also marks the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the landmark civil rights law signed in 1990 that helped prohibit discrimination against people with disabilities and expand access and opportunity. But more than three decades later, how far have we really come—and where does work still need to be done?  Today, we're having an honest conversation about disability, accessibility, independence, advocacy, and what it truly means to create communities where everyone can fully participate.
