Let Yourself Be A Beginner | Self Care Series
What if you’re not bad at it? What if you’re just new? In this episode of Chats from the Blog Cabin , we’re continuing the Self-Care Series with “Let Yourself Be a Beginner.” As adults, we can put so much pressure on ourselves to be good at something the very first time we try it. We see someone else’s beautiful painting, perfect garden, successful business, or Pinterest-worthy creation and wonder why ours doesn’t look the same. But we’re comparing our beginning to someone else’s middle. This episode is your permission slip to try something new without needing to be perfect at it. Paint the ugly picture. Bake the lopsided cake. Try the craft. Learn the new technology. Make mistakes, laugh at yourself, and keep going. Not everything you try has to become an achievement, a talent, or a side hustle. Sometimes you can do something simply because you’re curious and enjoying the process. The next time that little voice says, “You don’t know what you’re doing,” remind yourself: “Of course I don’t. I’m learning.” You’re not failing. You’re learning. ️ Chats from the Blog Cabin — where every voice is heard and every voice matters.
