Episode #90
Why Family Matters | Genesis 1:26-28
In Week 1 of Family Matters, Pastor Curt Taylor explores why family has always been central to God’s design and how our families shape the people we become. From the opening chapters of Genesis, we see that family was God’s idea, created to form us through love, sacrifice, forgiveness, responsibility, and grace. But sin and selfishness bring brokenness into our relationships, often creating patterns that get passed from one generation to the next. The good news is that our family of origin may explain parts of our story, but it does not have to define our future because Jesus can redeem what is broken and give us new life. As we consider the legacy we've received and the one we're building, we're challenged to intentionally shape the people around us to know, love, and follow Jesus.
