Having accidentally placed himself in a compromising situation, Christopher Jedbury, Jr. is forced to marry a woman without ever seeing her. When his father finds out about the marriage he turns Christopher out and sends him to India to work as a lowly clerk in his trading company offices there. The matter of Christopher’s wife becomes complicated when he meets the lovely Dora and asks his lawyer friend to find the mystery bride in order to dissolve the marriage. The plot takes a turn when the wife cannot be found anywhere and Dora reveals she has a secret of her own!
