In this episode, Mamadou Sarr ( Chair of the Environment & Resource Protection Committee of the Saint-Louis artisanal Fishermen’s Association) and Dr. Jeslyn Lemke (an international journalist and CACD fellow) join me to discuss the climate crisis in Senegal’s coastal and fishing town of Langue de Barbarie and the negative impacts of the activities of multinational gas station built directly on the fishing land (thereby displacing the fishermen and affecting their livelihood).
