We’re bringing the village back. In this episode of Conscious Conversations , Kristy Drake and I share the heart behind something we’ve created together: The Modern Women’s Village. Women were never meant to navigate every stage of life alone. For generations, women gathered. We shared stories, experiences and wisdom and supported each other through our cycles, motherhood, relationships, grief, hormonal changes, menopause and the many transitions of being a woman. We want to create a modern version of that village. Every fortnight, we’ll gather online with women from wherever they are in the world. There’s no expectation to show up a certain way. Come and share what you’re moving through, ask questions, listen, connect, celebrate, cry, laugh or simply be around other women who understand that life isn’t perfect all the time. For a small monthly exchange, you’ll have a place to come back to every fortnight and a community of women to walk alongside. In this episode, we share why we created the Village, our own experiences of needing deeper female connection, and what we hope this space becomes as more women step inside.
