Episode #37
Wrong Turns, Dead Ends
What does it look like to stay on the right road in our faith journey? In this episode, we continue through Colossians 2 as Paul warns believers about the wrong turns that can quietly pull us away from the truth of Jesus. Human philosophy, religious rituals, spiritual powers, and man-made rules can all become distractions when they take our focus off Christ. Paul reminds us that the fullness of God dwells in Jesus. He is not simply one wise teacher among many or another voice offering spiritual advice. He is fully God, fully sufficient, and the sovereign Lord over all. That truth gives us a firm foundation when we're facing doubt, pressure, or the opinions of others. We don't have to measure our faith by someone else's spiritual checklist. We don't have to find our identity in rituals, rules, or religious performance. Our identity is found in Christ, and our connection to Him is what holds everything together. Join us as we consider the distractions that can pull us off course and return to the simple, powerful truth at the center of our faith: Jesus is enough.
