Band-Aid Beer Science
Aug 12, 202637 min
Welcome in, craft beer friends. Greg is forced to conduct some impromptu beer science after his first can comes up full Band-Aid. Flex is ready to start a Super Troopers podcast after watching the second movie. There’s a trip to an over-the-top tiki bar, new Bourbon County desserts, and a 160-year-old booze cruise found stocked full of Guinness. Beers We’re Drinking: Flex is drinking Shredneck DDH Double IPA from Drekker Brewing , a juicy double IPA loaded with citrus. Greg is drinking Dictionary Roulette, a Hazy IPA from Brewery X that turns into an unexpected can-by-can experiment. Flex finally watched *Super Troopers 2* and is ready to give up craft beer and turn this into a *Super Troopers* podcast, right meow! A new podcast review from a listener gets a little attention, and Greg and Flex get into gross beer origin stories with a smoky mushroom offering from Jester King. Greg visits an over-the-top tiki bar, complete with rainstorms and meh cocktails. And thanks to an awful can of beer, the guys throw on the lab coats and launch into some impromptu Beer Science! Booze News: NA Pumpkinhead is coming for pumpkin spice season. Goose Island turns Bourbon County 2026 into dessert. A 160-year-old stash of Guinness is pulled from a shipwreck. Drunk British soldiers take a 15-ton armored vehicle for a joyride. Hey, craft beer friends! Flex willingly returns to the scene of a beer-related trauma and finds out that watermelon can apparently succeed where strawberry tasted like vomit. Greg gets stuck with a four-pack of ten-month-old hazy IPA, we discover Flex believes pizza should be dipped in more pizza sauce, and a drunk guy removing his clothes in an Ohio street brings back the story of Greg face-planting onto a bed fully dressed after his bachelor party. Beers We’re Drinking: Greg is drinking El Segundo Brewing Company’s Burn Off , a hazy IPA with classic West Coast hops. Flex is drinking WeldWerks Brewing Company’s Watermelon Cotton Candy Sour Ale, a fruit-forward sour that completely redeems a previous cotton candy beer disaster. North Charleston becomes our newest top listening city, which is good news for South Carolina’s reputation as a state where people probably do not get eaten. Poop-Beer Gate continues with a New Belgium hemp pale ale so aggressively skunky that the draft line had to be replaced, while Flex remembers drinking a Heineken and searching his backyard for the smell. His watermelon cotton candy sour initially triggers the same gag reflex as its strawberry predecessor, then earns a perfect score and plans for four meals a day. Greg and Flex also discover they are fundamentally incompatible on pizza sauce, ranch, pants, and whether sleeping in shoes is ever acceptable. Greg has done it, although he briefly misunderstood why his future wife was removing them. Booze News: Gen Z may not be the sober generation after all 21st Amendment settles a $1.2 million excise tax dispute A ranch dressing cream ale is headed to the Minnesota State Fair Drunk Cleveland man lies in the street and starts taking off his clothes Follow your favorite beer podcast on the socials: Flex: Instagram: @flex_me_a_beer Craft Beer Republic: CraftBeerRepublic.com Instagram: @CraftBeerRepublic Facebook: CraftBeerRepublicPod Threads: CraftBeerRepublic Voicemail: (805) 538-2337 Follow & Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Spotify More links
Welcome back, craft beer people. Greg runs a boat straight into the dock after some boat beers, Flex introduces his kids to the glory of fourth meal, and bug beers sound worse than poop beers. Pilot Tom drops off some precious cargo, Ballast Point is falling apart at the seams, and Tony Romo DUIs his way into Wisconsin folk lore. Beers We're Drinking: Flex is drinking Lawson's Finest Liquids Sip of Sunshine , a classic Vermont IPA delivered under the strict supervision of Pilot Tom. Greg is drinking North Coast Brewing Scrimshaw Pilsner , a crisp craft pilsner making its first appearance on the show in years. Greg's relaxing morning on the lake ends with a boat parked in the dock a little harder than intended after the battery gives up at exactly the wrong time. Flex discovers his daughters are officially old enough to appreciate the magic of fourth meal after a concert, and the guys spend far too much time deciding whether bug beer or poop beer is the less offensive beverage. Pilot Tom's cross-country beer delivery also gets the VIP treatment it deserves. Booze News: Ballast Point’s ownership battle puts the brewery’s future at risk. The Lost Abbey opens taproom number five. James Watt makes an offer to buy-back BrewDog. Tony Romo scores a DUI in Milwaukee. Grab a beer, craft beer friends. Flex gets back from a birthday road trip with great brewery stops, a ballpark full of craft beer, and an amusement park souvenir he’d rather not have. Greg introduces everyone to the wonderful world of elephant poop beer, and the guys go full movie buddy with Bio-Dome. An on-again, off-again craft brewery loses another location, and a drunk driver gets two cars stuck in the mud before moving in for a nap. Beers We’re Drinking: Flex is drinking Midwest Sound from Phase Three Brewing and Eagle Park Brewing , a hazy double IPA packed with mango, tangerine, and passion fruit. Greg is drinking Short Lived IPA from MadeWest Brewing and Coronado Brewing , a clear West Coast IPA with light strawberry and a dank finish. Greg and Flex officially become movie buddies with a synchronized Bio-Dome night, and Greg’s warning that his wife should probably take a gummy turns out to be solid advice. Greg escapes the heat with beers, food, and the dogs on the patio at Malibu Brewing, while Flex comes back from his birthday road trip with a stop at Modist Brewing, plenty of craft beer at Target Field, and a waterfall judged by whether jumping off it would kill you. The Mall of America log ride also leaves Flex with a very adult souvenir, leading to a discussion about the surprising number of ways a person can get a hemorrhoid. Booze News: Ballast Point shuts down its San Francisco taproom. Untitled Art ends operations after ten years. Anchor’s old labels return while the beer remains missing. A Georgia DUI suspect gets two cars stuck in the same mud. Pull up a stool, craft beer friends. Greg gets replaced by Steph in an AI-generated PR pitch, Non-Murderer John keeps the beer trades coming, birthday week starts with hotel snoring plans, one guy FaceTiming from a bar sparks a debate on public phone etiquette, and Booze News includes free World Cup beer and a Nebraska woman who showed up to court with a .336 BAC. Beers We’re Drinking: Greg is drinking Death Awaits Black IPA from Fidens Brewing , a citrusy black IPA that refuses to act like a stout. Flex is drinking Gravity Palace from Definitive Brewing , an 11% New England triple IPA picked by his daughter and judged accordingly. Flex is getting ready to spend birthday week sharing a hotel room with family, which quickly turns into a discussion about drunk snoring, sleeping on the couch, and why Vegas cigarettes somehow seem perfectly acceptable. Non-Murderer John keeps his streak alive with another beer trade before Greg reads one of the worst PR emails the show has ever received after an AI decides Steph has replaced him as co-host. The guys spend way more time than expected arguing about FaceTiming people at a bar, sipping tequila shots, and why speakerphone in public should be considered an open invitation for everyone else to join the conversation. Flex also introduces his daughter’s latest “Daddy ABV” pick while Greg wonders who thought Sleepy Girl Mocktails was a good product name. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
