Episode #126
The Wax Museum Murder - Patsy Wright (part two)
Last episode, we told you who Patsy Wright was. Today, we go looking for who killed her. In part two, the suspects are named and the cards go on the table β one by one, with everything pointing toward them and everything that gives you pause. A brother-in-law with a financial deadline two weeks away, and debt stacking up. An ex-husband who told his own wife he knew people who could get someone snuffed out, had a looming trial Patsy was going to testify at, refused to say a single word to investigators, and was the only guest at a Murder Mystery party who correctly guessed the murderer had hired a hit man. A previous boyfriend who made a purchase at the only strychnine outlet in Dallas the summer she died. A possible ghost behind a second dinner plate who has never come forward. And then there's the wax museum that burned to the ground eleven months after Patsy died. The one wax figure that survived. The drifter with three Social Security numbers and a red laundry basket full of hidden news clippings about the case. And the private investigator who followed that thread for years β until the man at the center of it died on an Oak Lawn street corner before anyone could ask him what he knew. This case has never been solved. No one has ever been charged. And somewhere out there, someone knows something they haven't said. Patsy's family has been waiting nearly forty years. It is never too late. To see more about this case, as well as the sources used to create this episode, visit our Blog Here .
