Drivers & Catchers: 2026 Edition | Ep. 297
Aug 17, 20261h 9m
Most creators know they need marketing, but very few understand what actually creates demand versus what simply captures it. In this episode of Crowdfunding Nerds, Andrew Lowen and Sean dive deep into one of the most important marketing concepts for crowdfunding creators: Drivers vs. Catchers. They explain why many campaigns mistakenly attribute sales to the wrong marketing channels, how platforms like Meta, Google, Amazon, YouTube, conventions, and now ChatGPT all serve different purposes, and why understanding the customer journey can dramatically improve your marketing ROI. Andrew also shares his first-hand experience testing the brand-new ChatGPT Ads platform, including real campaign data, click costs, impressions, targeting options, and early lessons learned after spending over $150 on the platform. Fulfillment Nightmares with Konstantinos Manos | Ep. 296
Aug 10, 20261h 7m
Fulfillment can make or break your crowdfunding campaign, and most creators don't realize how much can go wrong until it's too late. In this episode, Andrew sits down with Konstantinos Matos of Hive Interactive and Vesuvius Media to unpack the realities of international fulfillment, freight logistics, and why even experienced publishers still encounter unexpected disasters. With over 21 successful Kickstarter campaigns under his belt, Konstantinos shares real-world horror stories, from missing pallets and incorrect shipments to insurance headaches and customs complications. More importantly, he explains how creators can reduce risk, set proper expectations with backers, and build fulfillment plans that survive the unexpected. What You'll Learn Why fulfillment is far more complicated than most first-time creators expect. The biggest misconceptions creators have about international shipping. Why you should never rely on a single fulfillment or logistics provider. How fulfillment mistakes happen long before products ever leave the factory. What insurance actually covers, and what it doesn't. Resources: Thank you to our sponsors! How To Stay Productive After Kickstarter | Ep. 294
Jul 27, 20261h 13m
Most creators dream about launching a successful Kickstarter, but what happens after your first campaign? In this episode of Crowdfunding Nerds, Andrew and Sean wrap up their marketing series by exploring the bigger picture: how to build a publishing company that lasts. They discuss why your first campaign should be viewed as the foundation, not the finish line, and why cultivating a passionate audience is far more valuable than chasing a viral launch. The conversation also dives into creative productivity, protecting your focus in a world full of distractions, using AI responsibly, and why your next game should serve the audience you've already built rather than forcing them to follow you into an entirely different direction. How to Market Your Kickstarter: Ecommerce | Ep. 292
Jul 13, 20261 hour
E-commerce is where many crowdfunding creators expect the hard work to be over—but in reality, it's the beginning of an entirely new challenge. In this episode, Andrew and Sean break down what it actually takes to build a profitable online store after your crowdfunding campaign ends. They discuss why successful e-commerce is built on testing, data, and continual optimization—not luck or guarantees. Drawing from years of experience managing marketing campaigns for tabletop games and other businesses, they explain why knowing your numbers, understanding your customer journey, and investing in long-term marketing infrastructure are essential for sustainable growth. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
