Why This Army Ranger Puts Profit Last (And Makes More) | Jimmy Vreeland
Aug 19, 202626 minS19
Send us Fan Mail Business Community https://www.skool.com/thebusinessnetwork Newsletter https://doing-business-with-a-servants-heart.kit.com/steveramona Description: What if the reason your business feels like a rat race is that you've got your priorities backwards? Former Army Ranger and Vreeland Capital founder Jimmy Vreeland spent years chasing profit and never feeling like it was enough — until a coach flipped one word order and changed everything. In this episode, Steve Ramona sits down with Jimmy to unpack how servant leadership, a growing "big soul," and a team-first mindset turned a burned-out solo hustler into the leader of a 40-person company managing 800 properties. Why "team, customer, profit" beats "profit, team, customer" — and how profit takes care of itself once you reorder it The six-figure coaching bet Jimmy made on himself and his team over five years How reading Rich Dad Poor Dad while deployed in Iraq launched a real estate portfolio The simple two-houses-a-year math that makes wealth "almost inevitable" Why the best definition of love in business is "willing the good of the other" The paradox of responsibility: doing what sucks most is what gives you peace PS: Jimmy credits his wife Susie as his "number one team member" — the one who spots when he's "about to do something stupid" and clears the collateral damage out of the way. Behind every ready-fire-aim founder is a partner running damage control. Give Susie a shout-out in the comments. CTA: Reach out to Jimmy on Instagram or YouTube (@Jimmy Vreeland — V as in Victor, R-E-E-L-A-N-D) or at JimmyVreeland.com to see if building a rental portfolio with his team is a fit. 16 Years Building Someone Else's Dream | Dave Gold & Becky Perez
Aug 17, 202623 minS19
Send us Fan Mail Business Community https://www.skool.com/thebusinessnetwork Newsletter https://doing-business-with-a-servants-heart.kit.com/steveramona Description: For sixteen years, Becky Perez built and ran spa after spa — making another owner wealthy while she stayed on salary with no bonus. Then her longtime friend Dave Gold showed up one day with a set of keys and a simple question: why not build your own? That decision became Golden Glow, a San Jose medical spa where patients are treated like family, not line items. In this episode, Steve Ramona sits down with Dave and Becky to talk about what it really takes to bet on yourself and build something with heart: Why Golden Glow is decorated to feel like a living room, not a sterile medical office The "serve before you sell" philosophy: free consultations, honest assessments, and never selling a treatment they wouldn't do themselves How education — not pressure — builds the kind of retention that keeps a brick-and-mortar business alive Turning clients into community through private parties, memberships, and word-of-mouth referrals The full menu behind the glow: Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, body sculpting, and more — all performed by licensed medical staff PS: The line that stuck with me: Becky hugs every patient on the way out. In a world where so much of business has gone cold and transactional, she built an entire company around making people feel warm, seen, and better about themselves. That's not a marketing gimmick — that's a servant's heart. CTA: Listen to the full episode of Doing Business with a Servant's Heart , then subscribe so you never miss a story like this. The Breathwork Framework Every Overwhelmed Entrepreneur Needs | Sam Kabert

Send us Fan Mail Business Community https://www.skool.com/thebusinessnetwork Newsletter https://doing-business-with-a-servants-heart.kit.com/steveramona Description: What if you could interrupt stress in about 90 seconds — using only your breath? On Doing Business with a Servant's Heart , Steve Ramona talks with breathwork practitioner and author Sam Kabert about moving emotion through the body instead of burying it. Sam had the million-dollar business and the 40-under-40 title — and was numb. Here's the framework that turned it around. Daily breath resets vs. deep breathwork journeys The six-step B.R.E.A.T.H. process The 90-second science behind every trigger PS: Sam's most relatable moment is standing over the trash can, crushing pistachios he wasn't even hungry for. If you scroll or snack to dodge a feeling, this names it. CTA: Listen now, then grab Overcome the Overwhelm at samkabert.com. Why the Best Leaders Run Toward the Fear | David Kitchen
Aug 12, 202633 minS18
Send us Fan Mail Business Community https://www.skool.com/thebusinessnetwork Newsletter https://doing-business-with-a-servants-heart.kit.com/steveramona Description: What separates the people who chase something worthwhile from the ones who sit back and criticize? For David Kitchen — former Division 1 coach turned founder of Edge Leadership Academy — the whole game comes down to one decision: get out of the stands and step into the arena. In this episode, David and host Steve Ramona unpack why real service is impossible from the sidelines, and why holding yourself back isn't humble — it's selfish. Here's what you'll take away: Why "selfish and impact don't live together" — and how staying small keeps you from lighting someone else's candle The one-vote leadership lesson from a high school coach that David still carries into boardrooms today Why the higher you climb the org chart, the less it's about you How to lean into fear, take messy action, and let pressure "do its work" The truth about participation trophies — and the question that separates unable from unwilling PS: Watch for the parking-lot story — David pulling his used truck up next to a row of Ferraris at his first networking dinner, saying the wrong thing, and shrinking into his chair. Two years later, the entrepreneur at that same table became one of his biggest clients. Proof that the door doesn't open on your timeline — it opens because you walked through it. CTA: If five to eight minutes of this changes how you lead, share it with someone who needs it. Then catch Together We Serve — 2PM Pacific / 5PM Eastern on Apple TV, Roku, Samsung, and LG. Kindness and Math: The Leadership Formula | James Rhee
Aug 11, 202629 minS19
Send us Fan Mail Business Community https://www.skool.com/thebusinessnetwork Newsletter https://doing-business-with-a-servants-heart.kit.com/steveramona Description: What if the two most powerful tools in leadership were the two you were never taught to trust — kindness and math? Former high school teacher turned private-equity CEO James Rhee joins Steve Ramona to unpack the philosophy behind his book red helicopter , and why leading with a servant's heart isn't soft — it's the most honest, high-accountability way to build a company and a life. In this conversation, James shares: The real story behind the red helicopter — a kindergarten lunch, a grieving family, and a lesson in clarity that degrees can't teach Why he tells leaders that accounting is not math — and what most executives measure that actually doesn't matter The difference between flying your own helicopter (agility + agency) and being a passenger on someone else's airplane How he walked into a first-time CEO role and said, "I'm scared out of my pants" — and why that honesty transformed the company The Friday habit that keeps him learning: only talking to people he's never met PS: Watch how James answers "How can people get the book?" He could've dropped an Amazon link and moved on. Instead he pointed listeners straight to their local independent bookstore — because those owners spread knowledge for love, not money. That one small moment tells you everything about kindness in practice. It's not a slogan. It's a decision you make when no one's grading you. CTA: Hit play, then use the forward and reverse buttons — James dropped tips you'll want to hear twice. Grab red helicopter at your local independent bookstore, and catch Together We Serve on Apple TV, Roku, and streaming, Fridays at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET. And remember — kindness is a practice. Go serve someone today. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
