Plenty of businesses collect certificates. Far fewer change the way they actually work. In this episode of Emission Possible, Alan Stenson is joined by Kirsty Shearer, Operational Excellence Director at Agilité, the commercial interiors and fit out specialist working across Europe and now America. Agilité is a certified B Corp, is EcoVadis rated and holds NCZ Platinum status. As Kirsty puts it, none of that counts for much if it sits in a folder waiting for the next audit. She explains how responsible business became part of how projects are delivered every day: bringing suppliers along across different countries and languages, tackling the emissions that come from the supply chain, and answering the questions clients now put into every tender. Her wider point is that progress rarely comes from one enormous change. It comes from small decisions made properly and repeated, illustrated here by a couple of pounds' worth of part on a tap.
