EULAR PARE
Perspectives from the Pan-American iPARE Working Group
Every person living with a rheumatic or musculoskeletal disease has a unique story, and through iPARE (EULAR International PARE Working Group), EULAR is committed to making sure those voices are heard. In this episode, we turn our attention to Latin America, exploring the experiences, priorities and challenges faced by people living with RMDs across the region, from improving equitable access to care in Panama, to advancing patient advocacy in Mexico, and tackling inequalities through collaboration in Chile. Hosted by Jeanette Andersen, featuring Luris E. Higuera from FUNARP (Fundation De Artritis Reumatoidea De Panamá) in Panama; Laura Athié Juárez from CETLU ( the Centro de Estudios Transdisciplinarios Athié-Calleja por los Derechos de las Personas con Lupus) in Mexico; and and Gonzalo Andrés Tobar Carrizo, spokesperson for Lupus Chile and Board Member of the Chilean Network of Rheumatic Patients.
