Mini-Episode: Can You Be Strong Without Pushing Harder
What if getting stronger in midlife isn’t always about doing more, pushing harder, or proving what your body can handle? In this episode of Fit for Midlife , Karin and Debi talk about how the way we approach movement, exercise, stress, and even our own expectations can either support our bodies or leave us feeling depleted. Sometimes strength looks like lifting heavier. Sometimes it looks like slowing down, listening to your body, taking a rest day, or choosing a different approach. We’ll explore what happens when we stop treating our bodies like something that needs to be pushed into submission and start paying attention to what they’re actually telling us. Because maybe becoming stronger isn’t about pushing harder. Maybe it’s about learning when to push, when to pause, and when to trust yourself.
