Freelance marketing is a distinct discipline from agency or in-house work. Lucas and Luna examine what actually changes when you're the sole practitioner: pricing without a brand, client acquisition without a sales team, and the emotional toll of feast-or-famine revenue. Each episode centers on a real independent marketer's case — a content strategist who left Ogilvy, a Google Ads consultant who built a $200k practice serving local dentists, the email specialist who charges per subscriber instead of per hour. Lucas pushes on unit economics: how do you calculate your effective hourly rate when you factor in unpaid sales calls, proposal writing, and software subscriptions? Luna focuses on the craft: how does a solo operator maintain quality without a second pair of eyes, and when should you turn down work that pays well but bores you? Together they challenge the 'hustle' narrative with data from IRS Schedule C filings, Upwork rate reports, and surveys of top-earning freelancers. They deb

How Freelancers Monetize Client Data Assets
Sep 29, 202612 minS4
Most freelance marketers treat client data as a byproduct of campaigns, leaving millions in value on the table. In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how independent service providers can legally and ethically monetize aggregated, anonymized performance insights to build recurring revenue streams. We look at the specific mechanics of turning campaign reports into standalone intelligence products, using real examples from email marketing and paid social to show how solo practitioners can shift from trading hours for dollars to selling verified market signals. The discussion covers data hygiene, privacy compliance, and the structural changes needed to productize information without violating client confidentiality agreements. #FreelanceMarketing #DataMonetization #RecurringRevenue #ClientInsights #ProductizedServices #SoloConsulting #MarketingAnalytics #InformationProducts #BusinessStrategy #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #LucasAndLuna #IndependentMarketers #DigitalMarketing #DataPrivacy #ServiceDesign #GrowthHacking #MarketingTrends Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Freelancers Build Client Trust Through Radical Transparency
Sep 28, 20269 minS4
Freelance marketers often hide behind polished decks and vague promises, but trust is built in the messy middle. We examine how independent consultants use radical transparency—sharing raw data, admitting mistakes early, and showing their working notes—to win higher-retainer clients. Using examples from senior strategy firms and solo practitioners who shifted from pitch-perfect presentations to collaborative audits, we explore why vulnerability is becoming a premium pricing tool. Discover how to structure client updates that invite partnership rather than just approval, turning friction into deeper engagement. #FreelanceMarketing #ClientTrust #RadicalTransparency #ConsultingStrategy #SoloServiceProviders #MarketingConsultant #ClientRelationships #BusinessGrowth #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingTips #ProfessionalServices #ClientCommunication #FreelanceLife #MarketingStrategy #ServiceDesign #IndependentConsultants #MarketingEthics Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Why Freelance Marketers Lose Clients to In-House Teams
Sep 27, 202611 minS4
In a market where companies are rebuilding internal marketing capabilities, independent consultants face an existential question: are you a vendor or a partner? This episode explores the specific moment when a mid-sized SaaS company decided to bring its content strategy in-house, and what that decision reveals about the hidden risks of relying on external talent. We look at the operational shift, the cost calculations behind bringing work internal, and the strategic adjustments freelance marketers must make to remain indispensable when the client's own team grows. It is not just about pricing or scope; it is about value density. #FreelanceMarketing #IndependentConsultants #InHouseTeams #ClientRetention #MarketingStrategy #SoloServiceProviders #BusinessGrowth #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #LucasAndLuna #MarketingEconomics #ServiceDesign #B2BMarketing #SaaSMarketing #ConsultingTips #CareerAdvice #RevenueModels #ProfessionalServices Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Most independent marketers chase generalist volume, but the real leverage lies in building niche authority. We look at how a specialized SEO consultant for dental practices scaled to two hundred thousand dollars annually by ignoring broad keywords and focusing entirely on local search intent. Lucas and Luna break down why specificity beats scale in today's saturated freelance market. #FreelanceMarketing #NicheAuthority #SoloEntrepreneur #ConsultingStrategy #BusinessGrowth #DigitalMarketing #SEOConsultant #LocalSearch #ValueBasedPricing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingTips #ClientAcquisition #ServiceDesign #IndependentPro #RevenueModels #MarketPositioning #LucasAndLuna Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Lucas and Luna explore why high-performing freelance marketers lose clients despite delivering strong results. They dissect the 'invisible value' trap, where work that doesn't show up in a dashboard gets deprioritized during budget cuts. Using the example of brand health monitoring versus direct response metrics, they discuss how to make intangible strategic work tangible for CFOs. This episode offers a framework for shifting client conversations from activity reports to risk mitigation and long-term equity building. #FreelanceMarketing #ClientRetention #MarketingStrategy #ValueBasedPricing #BrandEquity #CFOCommunication #InvisibleWork #ConsultingTips #SoloEntrepreneur #MarketingMetrics #LongTermGrowth #BusinessResilience #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingConsultant #ServiceDesign #ClientRelationships #StrategicPlanning Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
