  If you didn't live through the Satanic Panic of the 1980s this film may not land with you. Those of us who remember the ridiculous reactions that parents had to anything remotely "evil" will certainly get why this movie has the potential to scare your pants off. The trailer for this film scared a 14-year-old Pete so bad that he waited to watch it until he picked it for this show. Kids are such chicken shits. If you like Rosemary's Baby or The Omen, then give The Believers a shot. There's an EPIC dummy fall at the end that's worth every bit of this slow burn.

It doesn't hurt to have a hunky badass Richard Norton on your side, as well as a dirt bike riding silent protector named Dakota! The fight scenes go hard, the soundtrack is so damn good, and Cynthia Rothrock is an AMAZING actress Dustin! Don't just watch Action, B-Action!!!

  After the success of "MONTH OF ACTION" Charlie and Pete need a little break from all the action movies and decide to level set with a couple of horror movies that epitomize the Give Me Back narrative. Memories of the VHS covers for Slaughterhouse and Popcorn live rent free in the minds of your GMB hosts invoking both intense fear and morbid curiosity in their young minds. To our delight, both films paired surprisingly well and their late 80s/early 90s charm just made watching these films a real treat.

  Edge of Tomorrow | Month of Action

  This week Charlie is joined by two special guests, Derrick from Bad Movies Worse People and Capt. Steven from Bucket of Chum podcast. The guys cover Edge of Tomorrow...aka Live Die Repeat, a movie that takes the time-loop premise and straps it into a mech suit. Tom Cruise plays a PR officer with zero combat experience who gets dumped into an invasion against alien invaders called Mimics. He dies (spectacularly) in minutes, then wakes up at the start of the same day....over and over. Each reset, he learns, adapts, and gets a little better. Emily Blunt plays the “Angel of Verdun"....his drill sergeant and guide through the loop. What makes it work is the balance: it’s funny, brutal, and genuinely clever about how repetition changes a person. It’s Groundhog Day meets Saving Private Ryan with sci-fi technology. The action is tight and the story earns its payoff because failure actually matters. This is definitely one everyone should check out.
