How, as Individuals and Society, We Can Be and Have Better: Two Girls, Two Pathways, Same Mission
What does it actually mean to want better? In this episode of Good Girl Gone Bad, Stacey sits down with Chrysten for a conversation about ambition, self leadership, society and the belief that we are capable of more. They may be working in very different worlds, but the mission is surprisingly similar. Chrysten is looking at change through politics and society, while Stacey approaches it through the individual: how we lead ourselves, how we show up in our relationships, and how we create better lives from the inside out. Together, they explore what happens when you stop settling for what you've been told is "normal", why people are exhausted and feeling stuck, and what it could look like to actually create change instead of simply talking about it. They talk about: Why we shouldn't settle for mediocrity The difference between accepting what is "normal" and questioning whether it could be better How individual change can create a ripple effect into families, relationships and communities Why society's pressures are leaving so many people exhausted The role of personal responsibility in creating meaningful change How apathy keeps us stuck Why we need to listen to our own voice and question what we have accepted as normal What happens when two people choose completely different pathways but are working towards the same bigger goal Because change doesn't have to look the same for everyone. One pathway might be changing yourself. Another might be changing the systems around you. Two girls. Two pathways. Same mission. To be better. To have better. And to believe that we can create better.
