Aug 18, 20263 min

California Notary Exam Prep 12, Jurisdiction Venue and County Filing
Aug 17, 20263 min
This podcast is made by Ran Chen, who holds an EA license, Insurance and Securities licenses (Series 6, 63, 65), and the CFP® designation. He is passionate about opening access to high-quality exam preparation resources and helping learners prepare more effectively for professional certification exams. In this episode you will learn: - A California notary's jurisdiction to perform notarial acts is statewide, regardless of the county where their oath and bond are filed. - The 'venue' on a notarial certificate must always state the actual county where the signer and notary are physically located during the notarization. - A common exam question involves correcting an incorrect, pre-printed venue by striking through the wrong county, writing the correct one, and initialing the change. - While a notary must file their bond in the county of their principal place of business, they are not required to re-file it if they move to a new county, though they must notify the Secretary of State of the address change. - The physical presence of the signer within California is mandatory for the notarization to be valid, irrespective of where the document was created or will be used. California Notary Exam Prep 11, Surety Bond vs Errors and Omissions Insurance
Aug 16, 20263 min
This podcast is made by Ran Chen, who holds an EA license, Insurance and Securities licenses (Series 6, 63, 65), and the CFP® designation. He is passionate about opening access to high-quality exam preparation resources and helping learners prepare more effectively for professional certification exams. In this episode you will learn: - The $15,000 Surety Bond is a mandatory California requirement that protects the public from a notary's misconduct. - If a surety company pays a claim against the bond, the notary is legally obligated to reimburse the company in full. - Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance is optional coverage that protects the notary's personal assets from claims of unintentional error. - The fundamental difference tested on the exam is who is protected: the bond protects the public, while E&O insurance protects the notary. - A common exam trap is to confuse the mandatory bond (for the public) with optional E&O insurance (for the notary). What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
